A funny movie called Date Night was released in 2010 about a couple who had a weekly date night that they dreaded. On those date nights, they would entertain each other by looking around and telling stories about the other people in the restaurant. One spouse would ask, “What’s their story?” And the other spouse would make up a silly story about the couple they didn’t know from Adam.

So, what’s your story? What would your family and friends say your story is right now? Are you pleased? If not, what would you like your story to be? I would like my story to be positive, happy, strong, helpful, generous, kind, loving, with a little bit of fun-ornery mixed in. How can you and I make these things a reality? We can start by volunteering in our community and donating to local, worthy causes. I donate to the Community Foundation where my donation is doubled thanks to a dollar-for-dollar matching grant from Lilly Endowment Inc. I am confident that the money is going to the cause that is most pressing in the community via the Community Impact Fund.
If you’d like more information on how you can be known as a generous, helpful person, call us! By the way, Date Night is a very funny, PG-13 movie…great for your own date night!
