Give to Grant Unrestricted Funds

Fund Purpose:
These funds allow the Community Foundation to make grants to address our most pressing community needs and opportunities.

Triple Your Donations:
Our donors often have specific interests like education, historical preservation, or community beautification, which we refer to as “fields of interest.” Donating to a fund supporting a specific field of interest is a great way to make a lasting impact aligned with your values. However, community needs can change unexpectedly, and we must adapt to these shifts in Grant County.

Unrestricted endowments, known as Give To Grant funds, are essential for our ability to respond effectively to evolving challenges and opportunities. These endowments provide flexibility, allowing us to address emerging needs, support innovative projects, and help nonprofits facing unforeseen challenges. By donating to our unrestricted endowment, you contribute to a larger pool of funds that grow and support the community’s needs over time.

Our Board is excited to announce a special opportunity for you: for a limited time, thanks to a generous gift, we’re offering a 2-to-1 matching opportunity. This means that when you donate $1 to any new or existing Give To Grant Unrestricted Fund, we will match it with $2!

Not only does your donation TRIPLE in impact, but it also contributes to improving Grant County’s overall quality of life and place in areas such as arts and culture, community development, education, health, and human services, among other things. Your support is crucial to the success of our strategic plan and the Community Foundation as a whole. In fact, without you, we wouldn’t be where we are today as an organization or as an impactful leader in the community!

The Community Foundation serves as stewards of donors’ philanthropic visions, ensuring lasting positive change for future generations. Endowments offer a way to leave a lasting legacy and make a difference in the community for years to come. Fund Story:
The mission of the Community Foundation is to connect people, resources, and causes to promote a sustainable impact for the betterment of Grant County. With the Give to Grant Unrestricted Funds, we connect generous donors with others and pool our resources to do something strong and impactful for our community. This is philanthropy in its broadest sense!

This fund is a part of the Give To Grant Collaborative and provides flexible financial support to trusted nonprofit partners across Grant County. The Fund allows the Community Foundation Board to be nimble in their response to addressing our community’s most pressing and emerging needs, specifically with organizations working with our most vulnerable citizens, while also supporting worthy opportunities. And it’s through collaborative grantmaking like this that the impact of your donation has a multiplied value—more than any one donor could do alone.

When it comes to supporters, collaborators, dreamers, and doers, we’ve been blessed beyond measure. Strong, sustainable Foundations like ours don’t exist without people like you who have an affinity for our community and the capacity to donate in these big, game-changing ways!
