Fund Purpose:
Scholarships for graduates of Marion High School who pursue a degree in music (in memory of Darlene M. Ellis); for graduates of Marion High School who pursue a degree in elementary education (in memory of Otis L. Ellis); for graduates of Hayes High School, Delaware, Ohio, who pursue studies in the field of nutrition and dietetics (in memory of Marguerite McKean Ellis); for students attending Indiana Wesleyan University pursuing a degree in elementary education (in memory of Otis L. Ellis); for students attending Ohio State University pursuing a degree in the human ecology/dietetic field (in memory of Marguerite McKean Ellis).

The primary purposes of the Marguerite E. Ellis Endowed Scholarship Fund is to receive and administer the property listed in Exhibit “A”, less an amount equal to Trust expenses as aforesaid, and other donations, and funds and property to provide support for the Beneficiaries of the Marguerite E. Ellis Endowed Scholarship Fund.
