Fund Purpose:
The purpose of this fund is to provide support for the mission of Marion Public Library, Marion, Indiana, including but not limited to the Museum and Jay House.

Fund Story:
The Marion Public Library Board of Trustees started this fund in May of 2007. It was their ultimate hope that this fund would promote the Library throughout the Community via the many channels of the Community Foundation. This fund is just one additional way for community members to learn about our wonderful library and to spread the message that libraries do affect communities and librarians continue to be important in shaping lives. Many people may think that libraries are free. However, hours, staffing, materials, and services cost money. In these troubled times, people need libraries the most, but these are the times when it is challenging to operate with less money. Check the library out at
