Fund Purpose: 
The purpose of this fund is to provide general and/or program support to the Marion Philharmonic Orchestra.

Fund Story: 
The Marion Philharmonic Orchestra started a fund with the Community Foundation on August 30, 1990. The Marion Philharmonic Orchestra relies on funds from foundations, grants, and donors for 90% of its $200,000.00 yearly budget. When the Community Foundation was started in Marion, Dr. Albrecht realized the opportunity for residents to give to the MPO. She established the Marion Philharmonic Fund and the endowments from the Bove and Marcuccilli families. Dr. Albrecht also established an endowment fund in her name.
