Virginia June and Lowell Byron Richards Fund

Fund Purpose:
To support projects and community development in Jefferson Township in Grant County (Indiana).

Fund Story:
Byron Richards, a life-long resident of Jefferson Township, and Virginia Richards, who resided in Jefferson Township most of her life, had strong interests in the history of Jefferson Township and in Matthews.  They were passionate about the history, maintenance, and ongoing interpretation of the Cumberland Covered Bridge near Matthews, and they understood the importance of education and were strong supporters of Eastbrook Community Schools.
