Its mission is to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ and to meet human needs in His name without discrimination. Since 1899, The Salvation Army Marion Corps has been committed to proclaiming the Gospel of Jesus Christ and meeting human needs without discrimination.

The Salvation Army is a collection of diverse and socially conscious evangelical Christians with the motive of showing the love of God through service, programming, and empowerment. Whether we are feeding the hungry, providing clothing to the naked, shelter to the homeless, development skills for youth, or comfort after the storm, The Salvation Army stands at the ready to meet human need in God’s name without discrimination.
