01 Jul UHC Transparency in Coverage
In 2020, the Federal Government finalized “Transparency in Coverage” Rule, which requires health insurers and group health plans, including self-funded clients, to provide cost-sharing data to consumers via: Machine-readable files and the Consumer price transparency tool.
UnitedHealthcare creates and publishes the machine-readable files on behalf of the Community Foundation Of Grant County. To access the machine-readable files, please click here: Transparency in Coverage (uhc.com).

Instructions for accessing this information:

- Beginning July 1, 2022, employers may locate and view their MRF information. To do so:
- Go to transparency-in-coverage.uhc.com
- Search for the intended employer name
- Associated MRFs will appear
- Example: 2022-07-01_customer name_Choice-Plus_in-network-rates.json
- MRFs will be updated monthly in accordance with requirements
