James R. Browne, Jane Browne Bove, John R. Browne, Jr. Memorial Fund
Fund Purpose:
This fund supports charitable causes and organizations, including Grant County leukemia victims and Christmas City Walkway of Lights.

Fund Story:
The Browne, Bove, Browne Jr. Memorial Fund was established by Lupe Browne after the death of her husband James (Jim) R. Browne in 1993. Jim died at the age of 53 after a six-year battle with leukemia. The names of Jane Browne Bove, Jim’s sister, and John R. Browne, Jim’s father, were added to the fund after their deaths in 1998 and 1999.

This fund is a part of the Give To Grant Collaborative. These funds serve the Community Foundation mission which is to connect people, resources, and causes to promote a sustainable impact for the betterment of Grant County. The Collaborative, allows our Board to combine generous donations with others’ and pool our resources to do something strong and impactful for our community. This is philanthropy in its broadest sense!
