Funding Categories

Typically, funding is provided for projects that are related to health, education, community development, and human services. Here are some examples of what you could request, but funding is not limited to this list:

Funding is also available for these specific Field of Interest purposes identified by donors with an interest in these charitable areas:

– To support services for abused women in Grant County, Indiana. (Anna Mae Harrison Fund)

– To be used for the needs of children and the elderly. (Anthony & Delores Bove Fund)

– To support Grant County programs/projects that support education in the art and skill or sewing, including, but not limited to, scholarships for students with financial need, which will allow them to take part in sewing classes or to purchase necessary sewing supplies for those students and/or as a way to offer these courses to additional students. (Caroline Hart-Krumel Memorial Endowment Fund)

– To provide support for financial education programs for Grant County students. (Cochran-Miller Fund)

– To provide support to youth-related projects and programs within Grant County, Indiana. (Eugene & Marilyn Glick Fund)

– To provide financial assistance toward prevention of domestic violence in Grant County. (Heidi Sue Chastain Memorial Fund)

– To aid abused and neglected women and children and/or programs for the benefit of same. (J. William and Eleanor G. Long Memorial Fund)

– To support Junior Golf. Further purposes of the fund include, but are not limited to, sports for disadvantaged youth of Grant County. (Kurt Herriman Memorial Fund)

– To provide funding for educational programs designed to encourage children or grade, middle, and high school age to become interested in and appreciate the physical sciences. (Ladislas D. Wojcik Fund)

– To provide body armor and/or safety equipment for all Grant County law enforcement agencies. (Law Enforcement Safety Fund)

– To meet educational needs of Grant County, Indiana, as determined by the Board. (Lawrence & Otie Sanborn Educational)

– To support Grant County adults who are in need of physical, emotional, or financial support. (Peter G. Flinn Charitable Endowment Fund)

– To provide AED devices to public locations in Grant County, Indiana. (Travis Simpkins Memorial Fund)

– To provide support for musical appreciation, encouragement, and participation with recommendations from Grant County schools. (Tri Kappa Janet Beer Music Education Fund)

– To provide support for young women’s causes. (Young Women’s Endowed Fund)

– To support projects and community development in Jefferson Township, Grant County, Indiana. (Virginia June and Lowell Byron Richards Fund)
