Landess L. and Jean R. Harris Memorial Fund

Fund Purpose:
To support the YMCA of Grant County for youth programs. Should the YMCA cease to exist, the fund will support youth programs in Grant County.

Fund Story:
In 1989 Rick Harris, the third son of Landess and Jean Harris, set up a memorial fund in his parent’s names. The fund was created to support youth programs at the YMCA of Grant County. Each year the fund has provided funds to support scholarships and youth programs at the YMCA. Many youth have had the experience of the YMCA that may not have had the opportunity without the financial support.
