Fund Purpose: 
The purpose of this fund is to support efforts to plant trees and purchase park benches in Marion parks.

Fund Story: 
Marion Parks and Recreation Department opened a fund with the Community Foundation of Grant County in April of 1990. It was started to be a central fund for all park donations. The fund has this allowed them to improve the park system beyond what their budget permits. Marion Parks and Recreation works to enhance the quality of life and community pride by providing and maintaining safe and accessible parks, programs, and facilities that meet cultural and leisure needs of all.
